5 Meditation Techniques

1. Find The Right Pose
The classic position for meditation with legs crossed and palms open is not the only one you can use. Being comfortable while you meditate is a key factor of success. If the classic meditation pose doesn't feel comfortable for you, it is alright to choose another one. There are many meditation positions that you can try. You may sit on a cushion with your legs crossed or you may sit on a cushion while kneeling. If you suffer from back pain it is fine to just lie down while meditation. You may experiment with different positions and find the one you are most comfortable with.

Yoga-Health Benefits

Here are 5 reasons why us Yoga lovers love the practice:

1. Yoga Relaxes:

When you practice yoga, your full attention is required. The practice allows you to detach from your long, hard day and turn in. For an hour or so, your practice requires you to be in the present moment. Most of the day, we are busy working, or making plans, or thinking about where we need to go, what we need to do... During this hour or so, your mind must focus and detach from all those things that you did or have to do because in order to do any pose, or listen to the instructor's direction, you need to pay attention. By leaving your work load behind or skipping through your thoughts about your "must do's," for that hour, you are clearing your mind. When your mind is clear, you can better reflect on the past, plan your future, and enjoy your present moment.

Asanas - Rid Of Dark Circles

Dark circles usually give you a fatigued and tired look that is usually very unappealing. The good side is that yoga experts have come up with a number of poses that can help you in getting rid of the dark circles:

Hastapadotasana

Also known as the standing forward bend pose, this move aids in stretching all the body muscles. The move also invigorates the nervous system, beats digestive disorders and aids in increasing blood flow to the face.
To assume the move you need to stand straight with your legs shoulder width apart. You should then stretch your hands forward and upwards until you feel a stretch up your spine.
You should then bend slowly until your palms touch the floor and your head touches your knees. You should hold in this position for as long as you are comfortable.
While this pose is very beneficial, you should avoid it if you are suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure or spondylitis.
