Asanas - Rid Of Dark Circles

Dark circles usually give you a fatigued and tired look that is usually very unappealing. The good side is that yoga experts have come up with a number of poses that can help you in getting rid of the dark circles:

Hastapadotasana

Also known as the standing forward bend pose, this move aids in stretching all the body muscles. The move also invigorates the nervous system, beats digestive disorders and aids in increasing blood flow to the face.
To assume the move you need to stand straight with your legs shoulder width apart. You should then stretch your hands forward and upwards until you feel a stretch up your spine.
You should then bend slowly until your palms touch the floor and your head touches your knees. You should hold in this position for as long as you are comfortable.
While this pose is very beneficial, you should avoid it if you are suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure or spondylitis.

Viparitakarani
It's also known as legs-up-the wall pose. This move not only increases blood supply to the head and face, but it also aids in stretching the back thus relieving lower back pain. Research studies have shown that the move is also very beneficial in calming the mind.
To assume the move you need to lie down on the floor, near a wall then raise your legs until you are resting comfortably. At this position, you should stretch your arms on you either side of your body and relax.
You should raise your chin towards the ceiling then close your eyes and breathe deep while allowing yourself to relax. You should hold in this position until your feel tension building.
Experts say that you should avoid this move if you are menstruating or if you have serious eye disorders such as glaucoma. You should also avoid the pose if you are suffering from high blood pressure.

Sambhavi mudra

According to experts, this move aids in stretching the eye muscles. The move also relaxes muscles between the eyebrows. The pose has also been found to be very effective in calming the mind.
To assume the move you need to sit comfortably in a calm corner and place your palms on your thighs.
For equal distribution of energy, you should ensure that your palms are facing upwards. You should then turn your eyeballs until you appear as if you are looking at the center of your eyebrows. You should hold in this position for up to six counts.
